Meet the Staff

The Dentists

Drs. Maura and Ron Brungo are both originally from Pittsburgh, PA. Maura is a graduate of Penn State University and Ron graduated from Washington and Jefferson College. They met during their dental training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where they graduated in 1993. Prior to opening their present practice, they spent seven years practicing dentistry with the United States Public Health Service as Commissioned Officers. Of those seven years, four years were spent on an Indian Reservation in South Dakota working with the Lakota Sioux Indians and three years in Juneau, Alaska with the Tlinget Alaska Natives.

Both doctors have dedicated themselves to constantly improve their skills through advanced dental education in areas of cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and implant dentistry. They have a membership in the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the American Orthodontic Society. They also volunteer at Centre Volunteers in Medicine and hold an inactive status with the Public Health Service. They now reside in the area and have three children.

Dental Hygienists: Celeste and Lynn

Celeste, our full-time dental hygienist, is a graduate of State College High School and received her dental hygiene training from the Williamsport Area Community College. She has been with the practice since 1989 and resides in State College with her husband and daughter.

Lynn joined our practice in 2005 as a part-time hygienist. She received her dental hygiene training at Allegany Community College in Cumberland, MD and has been practicing hygiene since 1983. Lynn lives in Warriors Mark with her husband and their two children.

Dental Assistants: Connie and Molly

Connie, has been with the practice since 1999. Prior to that, she worked for Cen-Clear child services providing dental care through the mobile dental unit. Connie lives in Clearfield County with her husband.

Molly, joined our practice in 2003. She has many years of experience in the dental field in State College. Molly lives in Boalsburg with her husband.

Administrative Staff: Linda

Linda, our practice administrator, joined our practice in 2005. She has been in the dental field since 1999 in both North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Linda lives in Pleasant Gap with her husband and daughter.
