Performed to look as natural as possible, cosmetic procedures can include veneers, porcelain inlays, onlays, crowns, and tooth-colored fillings.
Crowns and Bridges
A crown is a “cap” that’s placed over a weak or damaged tooth. A bridge is a series of crowns fused together to replace one or more missing teeth.
We bond a tooth-colored resin to the tooth with a special curing light to restore or improve a patient’s smile.
Dentures and Partials
A denture is a removable tooth replacement used when all the teeth are missing. (See also Fixed Implant Hybrid Dentures.) We use partial dentures when some natural teeth remain.
Our digital radiography system reduces radiation exposure, improves x-ray diagnostics, and helps save the environment.
A dental extraction (exodontia) is the removal of a tooth. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons, including decay that has destroyed enough tooth structure to prevent restoration, or a fracture that is beyond repair.
Fixed Implant Hybrid Dentures
We can fabricate dentures that are “screwed in” to implants.
This “hybrid denture” combines the advantages of fixed and
removable dentures, allowing function as close to natural teeth
We treat active periodontal disease of the gums and bone to
slow or stop disease progression.
Titanium implants replace the entire tooth by restoring the root and the crown. Unlike caps, they do not decay and thus last a very long time. Implants do not require the removal of adjacent healthy tooth structure, as with a bridge.
“Invisible” braces use a series of thin, removable, clear plastic mouthpieces to gradually move teeth into alignment, usually without the use of metal braces.
Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Also known as “laughing gas,” nitrous oxide is an odorless gas that you breathe through a nasal mask to safely reduce anxiety about dental treatment.
Braces apply steady pressure over time to correct crooked or misaligned teeth and improve the appearance of your smile. We believe preventive orthodontics at an early age can decrease treatment time and create a more stable result.
We see children of all ages for preventive oral health, treatment of dental diseases, and the prevention and treatment of misaligned teeth.
Porcelain or resin veneers are very thin shells that cover the front surface of teeth to change their shade, shape, or length.
Prevention is the key to a long-lasting, healthy smile. We recommended exams and cleanings at least twice a year to keep your teeth in good shape and prevent small problems from becoming bigger.
Root Canal Treatment
This treatment repairs a badly decayed or abscessed tooth by removing the nerve and cleaning and sealing the inside of the tooth. We refer most root canals to our local endodontists.
We can apply thin plastic coatings to grooves on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth to protect against decay by keeping germs and food particles out of these grooves.
Teeth can become stained from coffee, tea, soda, smoking, and aging. Our take-home whitening system safely whitens your teeth in 2 to 3 weeks, with results lasting 3 to 5 years.
When the harmony among your teeth, jaw muscles, and temporomandibular joints is disturbed, Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD or TMJ) results in pain and discomfort. We can perform a comprehensive exam and develop a personalized treatment plan to alleviate symptoms.
